Canoa Cebrada
Dit dorp is een kleine dorp dat zich ruim 2,5 uur bevindt van aanvlieghaven Fortaleza. Het dorpje is een van oorsprong klein vissersdorpje, dat in de jaren 60 door de hippies is ontdekt. De combinatie van hippies ("Aboriginals") en lokalen ("Nativo's") vormen de basis van een klein, maar zeer levendig dorp. Het zijn vooral levensgenieters die in dit dorp leven, met een beetje internationale invloeden. Het dorp dankt zijn naam aan een kapotte boot die in dit dorp lag. De kapotte boot (canoa cebrada) diende als indicatiepunt om aan te geven waar het dorp gelegen lag aan de kust van Ceara!

Pousada's
De bedoeling is dat we veel pousada's gaan aanbieden langs de kust van de provincie Ceara. We zullen uit de mooiste stukken strand kiezen, met daaraan gekoppeld nette, schone en kleinschalige accommodaties. Een Pousada is veelal een terrein met typische kleine bungalows in Braziliaanse stijl. Vaak voorzien van airco, nette compleet ingerichte badkamer, goede bedden en een hangmat. Niet teveel overbodige luxe en rondom de accommodatie vaak geen of slechts een klein zwembad. Het motto bij pousada's luidt vaak: Leef buiten en leef van de zee: wordt een met de natuur!

Hotels in de stad
Voor hen die wel sportief mee willen doen, maar niet in een dorpje ergens achteraf willen zitten, zullen we ook enkele hotels in de stad Fortaleza aanbieden. Vaak wel eenvoudig, hooguit drie sterren hotels met nette kamers, compleet ingerichte badkamer, comfortabele bedden, airco en soms wat extra luxe (per hotel verschillend). Basic is ons karakter dus echt luxe (zakelijke) hotels zul je bij ons niet vinden. De hotels liggen in de stad Fortaleza, dat langs de kust veel mogelijkheden biedt voor hardlopers, watersporters, skaters en liefhebbers van meerdere balsporten. Tevens zitten de acco's vaak op respectabele afstand van diverse andere faciliteiten als bijvoorbeeld het uitgaansleven.
